The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura dips to his left and cracks Long with an uppercut!
Nakamura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nakamura defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Long.
Nakamura tries to close the distance and clinch but Long swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nakamura cracks Long with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Nobuhiro Nakamura will probably get the nod.

Long is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Nakamura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Long wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nakamura seems a little lost for a moment, as Long dominates the positioning.
Long connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nakamura some visible discomfort.

You can see the frustration on Nakamura's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Long is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nakamura's shoulder. That is not cool.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Long pulls Nakamura in close to his closed guard and prevents Nakamura from doing any damage or advancing position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Nakamura cracks Long with an open hand slap.
Long's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Long throws a solid leg kick but Nakamura takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Long.
Long throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakamura's waist but Nakamura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Long off to one side.
