These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heck dives in and grabs Worner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Worner pushes down on Heck's head and hops out.
Heck shoots and misses
and Worner counters with a one-two to the body.
Heck takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Worner tries to clinch there but Heck circles away.
Heck doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Worner counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Heck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Heck is trying to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heck bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Worner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Worner wants it to stay on the feet.

Heck manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Worner on his heels. He'll look to pass Worner's guard now, I'm sure.

Worner is looking to sweep but instead, Heck has passed into half guard.

Worner trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Heck manages to pass to mount!
Heck avoids the attempt from Worner to control.

Worner reaches up to try and pull Heck in and control his posture, but Heck latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Worner taps out and this one is all over!
