Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lu Bu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Frost's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Frost is trying to hold Bu in close to prevent damage but Bu has managed to pass into half guard.

Bu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Frost sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Bu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frost swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Frost has his foot on Bu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bu works his way back into a safe position though.

We've been hearing good reports from Bu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Frost throws a sloppy strike and Bu uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Bu has ended up in Frost's guard.

Bu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bu has managed to get both his arms back between Frost's legs - danger averted.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Frost working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Frost is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bu is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bu flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Frost anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bu and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Frost slips an arm under Bu chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Frost has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Frost is squeezing on Bu like an anaconda would it's prey. Bu fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
