Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Kopyto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregor Antonik!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Antonik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Antonik loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kopyto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Antonik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Antonik with a flurry of punches that miss.
Antonik is looking to work some ground and pound but Kopyto has wrist control.
Antonik throwing strikes but missing.
Antonik lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Antonik distracts Kopyto with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Antonik wants to control from the top but Kopyto keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Antonik might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kopyto haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Antonik postures up in Kopyto's guard and throws a big left but Kopyto blocks it.
Antonik makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Antonik is in close to Kopyto's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Kopyto throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Antonik with a nice head shot there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Antonik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Antonik throws an elbow that misses. Kopyto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Antonik's guard. Nice move by Kopyto!
Antonik looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Antonik is still trying to improve position.

Kopyto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Antonik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kopyto has managed to get both his arms back between Antonik's legs - danger averted.
Antonik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kopyto is one step ahead there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kopyto wants to pass the guard but Antonik is keeping the position.
Kopyto won't allow Antonik to sweep him here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Antonik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kopyto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Antonik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kopyto is one step ahead there.
Kopyto working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Antonik's head.
Kopyto pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Antonik is keeping the position for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kopyto is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Antonik tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kopyto looking to pass the guard.

Antonik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kopyto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Antonik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kopyto is one step ahead there.
Antonik will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kopyto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Antonik looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kopyto wants to stand but Antonik is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kopyto controlling from the top position.
Antonik wants to sweep but no luck.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Antonik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kopyto is aware though and is defending well.
Antonik is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Antonik looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gregor Antonik dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Kopyto instigates a clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Kopyto is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Antonik is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kopyto is looking to control Antonik's arms but Antonik gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kopyto has his back to the cage.
Kopyto tries to work over Antonik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Antonik tries for a takedown. No joy.
Andrew Kopyto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregor Antonik.
Antonik drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Antonik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kopyto avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Antonik is working for takedown but Kopyto is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kopyto pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Kopyto cracks Antonik with a nice body shot.

Antonik wants the takedown. Kopyto is fighting it off but Antonik persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kopyto's guard against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Antonik is sitting in close to Kopyto's body. Kopyto has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Antonik is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Antonik is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kopyto.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Andrew Kopyto!
