The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Meridius.
Meridius lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Harris has taken the fight to the clinch.
Meridius is looking to break free of the clinch but Harris has double underhooks.
Meridius breaks from the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Meridius.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meridius tries a head kick but it misses.
Meridius tries to bum rush Harris with a series of wild strikes but Harris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Meridius scores with a nice body kick.
Meridius scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Harris avoids the head kick by Meridius.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Meridius.
Meridius chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Meridius dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Meridius throws a push kick but Harris slaps the foot to one side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Harris. Meridius does a little dance to reset his feet.
Harris throws a shot from downtown. Meridius moves away and avoids it.
Meridius has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tenacity Elite - 17 Coaches in the buildup to the fight.
Nice jab there from Harris.
Meridius throws a low kick but Harris avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big right from Harris misses.
Meridius takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Meridius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harris throws a right and a left that Meridius avoids nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Harris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Meridius - the referee stops the clock and Harris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Meridius. Harris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Meridius throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily.
Maximus Meridius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Meridius lands with a nice combination. Harris backs away looking to recover.
Meridius throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Harris takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Harris looks to land a right hand but Meridius moved out of range.
Meridius buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harris avoids a punch combination nicely.

Meridius lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harris circles away quickly and effectively.
Meridius lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Meridius checks a low kick from Harris.
A slow jab from Harris misses its intended target.
Harris moves out of range of the body kick from Meridius.
Meridius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Harris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Meridius.
Harris walks forward, straight into a front kick from Meridius.
Meridius throws a nice head kick!
BOOM! Meridius lands a beautiful left hook that drops Harris. Harris tries to recover but Meridius is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Harris lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
