The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams rushes Hunter and presses him up against the cage.

Williams tightens his grip and picks Hunter up, before dumping him to the ground. Hunter manages to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Hunter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Williams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunter is keeping the position for now.
Williams stands and throws Hunter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Williams tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Williams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hunter is looking for a sweep.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hunter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hunter is trying to get back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunter manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Williams wants to work for an arm triangle but Hunter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hunter is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunter is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Williams rolls with it to try and escape but Hunter cranks on the arm and Williams is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
