PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boudreaux Godeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godeaux comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Ready. Krigare is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krigare misses with a wild body shot.
Godeaux shoots in for a double leg but Krigare sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Krigare uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Godeaux.

and Godeaux counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Krigare swings for the body but Godeaux moves out of range.

Godeaux closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Krigare to the mat! Krigare manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Godeaux makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Godeaux is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Krigare wants to sweep here but Godeaux controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krigare manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Godeaux manages to get himself to full guard.

Krigare clobbers Godeaux with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Krigare enables Godeaux to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Krigare manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Godeaux throws an elbow that misses. Krigare uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Godeaux's guard. Nice move by Krigare!
Godeaux bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krigare's guard.

We've been hearing that Godeaux has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
