The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mirvic thows a left - swing and a miss!

Berg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mirvic to the mat! Mirvic manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nicklas Berg wasn't active enough on the ground.
Berg throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mirvic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mirvic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Berg defends well and Mirvic ends up having to push Berg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mirvic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Berg smiles and moves away.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mirvic sprawls well. Mirvic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Berg gets slowly back to his feet.
Berg moves out of range of the strikes.
Mirvic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Berg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Berg is working for takedown but Mirvic is calmly controlling the position for now.

Mirvic manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Mirvic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Berg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mirvic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berg on the ground.
The referee asks Berg politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Berg prefers to stall for the moment though.

Berg in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mirvic is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
