Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Paul Ming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Key has chosen Party and Bullshit - Biggie Smalls as his entrance music. Allen Key is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Ming!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Allen Key!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ming is out of range.

Ming closes the distance and pushes Key back into the ropes.
Key wants to get back to striking at distance but Ming won't allow it.
Ming looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Key has had enough of the clinch but Ming keeps him there for the moment.
Key using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ming has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ming prevents Key from breaking the clinch.
Key blocks an elbow strike from Ming.

Ming breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ming scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Key to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.


It looks like Allen Key has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ming jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ming closes the distance and clinches.
Ming gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Key looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Key is trying to stall.

Ming breaks the clinch.

Ming closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Ming content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Key pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Key throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paul Ming seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ming has managed to clinch.

Ming breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ming is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ming throws a nice looking combination but Key bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Allen Key is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Key takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Key drops his guard momentarily, allowing Ming to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Key! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Ming takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Paul Ming!
After winning the bout, Paul Ming thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
