Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgio Petrosyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Petrosyan but Petrosyan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Petrosyan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Petrosyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jigster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Giorgio Petrosyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Petrosyan. Those never looked like landing.
An inside leg kick from Jigster misses.
Petrosyan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jigster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Petrosyan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jigster throws a solid leg kick but Petrosyan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jigster.
Jigster tries a low kick but Petrosyan avoids it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Petrosyan.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jigster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Petrosyan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jigster gets back to half guard.
Jigster blocking the ground and pound attempt from Petrosyan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrosyan wants to advance to full mount but Jigster doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Jigster is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Petrosyan frees his head nicely. Oh but Jigster has switched to an armbar! Petrosyan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
