Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Konden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, FIGHT SONG. The crowd seem to be enjoying St Pierre's choice of entrance music: Man Ah Bad Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Konden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Georges St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre shoots for a double leg takedown but Konden sprawls well. He's pushed St Pierre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
St Pierre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Konden pinned against the cage. Konden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
St Pierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eddie Konden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georges St Pierre.
Konden is looking to clinch.
Konden scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

St Pierre throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Konden escapes and throws St Pierre's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Konden will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eddie Konden will probably get the nod.

Eddie Konden seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Georges St Pierre spoke after the fight, saying 'I need to make a point now. I can't sleep at night. I'm going crazy. I need to relax. I need to get out for awhile. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I feel like I left everything out, but I need to keep some of my life personal...'.
