The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieztenzein takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Zhandunka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lieztenzein manages to avoid it.
Lieztenzein throws an overhand right that lands on Zhandunka's shoulder, as Zhandunka tries to avoid the shot.
Lieztenzein throws a hook to the side of Zhandunka's head but Zhandunka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lieztenzein tries to clinch but Zhandunka is having none of it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lieztenzein has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
