Nelson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Simple Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nelson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Filipovic is looking to slow Nelson down with leg kicks.
Nelson lands a really nice looking cross but Filipovic seems unphased.
It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Filipovic throws a head kick that Nelson semi-blocks.
Filipovic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Filipovic! Nelson is out on his feet! Filipovic rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nelson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nelson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Roy Nelson was interviewed post fight and said 'I'd like to say sorry to all my fans that came out to support me tonight he was the better fighter tonight ill come back stronger next time i promise you all that!'.
