Laraque shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mitchell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Laraque sprawls well initially but Mitchell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Laraque is looking for a sweep. Mitchell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Laraque has hold of Mitchell's hands but Mitchell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Laraque is looking to improve his position.
Mitchell works his foot free and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mitchell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Laraque looks a forlorn figure.

Laraque is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mitchell locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Laraque is forced to tap!
