Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Rees!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rees shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rees showed some decent athleticism there.
Duncombe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rees trying to control the pace.
Rees scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rees thows a huge punch but Duncombe dodges it nicely.
Rees has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rees is nestled in close to Duncombe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rees lands with a punch from half guard.
Duncombe is refusing to be controlled, as Rees sits in half guard.
Rees lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rees scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rees has eaten all the pies!
Duncombe wants to improve his position but Rees is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Rees is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rees stalling.

Rees is looking for a kimura but Duncombe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rees to get the leverage.

Duncombe is trying to get back to full guard.
Duncombe is refusing to be controlled, as Rees sits in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Duncombe. No joy for Rees on that attempt.

Duncombe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rees is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Rees is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Duncombe frees his head nicely. Oh but Rees has switched to an armbar! Duncombe is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
