The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irwin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Irwin scores with a hook.
Jones clinches up with Irwin and pushes him back against the cage.
Irwin breaks from the clinch.

Irwin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Irwin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Irwin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones is pressing down on Irwin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jones has his feet on Irwin's thighs here. He's pushed Irwin off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Irwin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
