Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Vinicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bravo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to OVER ME by Tricky. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vinicius scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bravo tries to pull guard but Vinicius holds him up against the cage and eventually Bravo drops back down to his feet.

Bravo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vinicius after a bit of a struggle.
We've been hearing reports that Bravo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vinicius tries to throw a body punch but Bravo avoids it by throwing Vinicius back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bravo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vinicius's head.
Vinicius is staying active underneath Bravo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vinicius manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bravo keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Vinicius steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bravo's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bravo just didn't come prepared.
