Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Shashia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dallas Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Shashia!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Shashia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Riley moves in looking to clinch but Shashia pushes him off.
Riley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shashia.
Shashia ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Riley with a poor takedown

and Shashia counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Shashia throws an elbow but Riley slips to the side and avoids it well.
Shashia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riley keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shashia working the body and head with strikes.
Shashia working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Riley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shashia decides to stand back up. Shashia steps back and let's Riley get back to his feet.
Shashia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Riley takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Riley sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Riley misses with a few strikes there.
Riley tries for a takedown but Shashia sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dallas Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Riley.
Riley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shashia misses with the combination.
Shashia cracks Riley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Riley is rocked!
Bruce Shashia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body kick from Shashia.
Oh Riley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shashia cracks Riley with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Riley falls to his knees and Shashia doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Shashia!
Dallas Riley was interviewed post fight and said 'i lost what can i say? ya no it was a good fight. but i will come back from this. austin worner don't think I'm weak. i will hurt you.'.
