The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi throws a leg kick but Prendergast sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Prendergast checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Prendergast on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Prendergast avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Yi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Prendergast tries to move to mount but Yi blocks the move with his legs.

That was a close round but I would say that Georgey Prendergast will probably get the nod.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Georgey Prendergast.
The fighters circle momentarily. Yi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Yi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Georgey Prendergast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Prendergast's calf.

Yi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Master Yi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Prendergast has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yi finds it's way round the side to connect with Prendergast's head.

Prendergast changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Georgey Prendergast.
