Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lou Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lou Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
Johnson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice uppercut lands for Johnson. That snapped Dunn's head back.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dunn tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dunn to the ground. Dunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lou Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Dunn as Johnson shoots in.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dunn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dunn swings around for an armbar but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dunn's guard.
Dunn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dunn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dunn shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dunn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Dunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Johnson feints a jab promting Dunn to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dunn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dunn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dunn somewhat.
Dunn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dunn off to one side.

Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dunn uses from the top position.
Dunn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lou Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
