Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominick slips a jab and a cross from Penn.
Penn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dominick under the eye.
Penn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Penn looks to land a combination but Dominick avoids it well.

Penn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dominick.
Penn throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dominick takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Dominick misses with a hook. Penn ducked under it nicely.

Penn throws a nice looking combination but Dominick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dominick lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dominick throws a looping overhand right but Penn ducks down to avoid it.
Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
Penn throws a quick inside leg kick.
Penn lands a leg kick that knocks Dominick off balance momentarily.
Penn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Penn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dominick.

Penn misses with a body kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dominick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Penn - the referee stops the clock and Dominick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Penn. Dominick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Penn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Penn throws a right hand that Dominick ducks under and follows up with a left that Dominick also avoids with ease.
Good leg kick by Penn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dominick tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Penn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Penn there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dominick has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dominick lands with a light punch inside.
Dominick swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn tries to break the clinch but Dominick is controlling the position.
Dominick keeps control of Penn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Dominick gets through Penn's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Dominick is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Penn is trying to break the clinch but Dominick is controlling him.

Dominick pushes Penn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dominick dips a shoulder and cracks Penn with a mighty uppercut! Penn falls back against the cage and Dominick unloads with a barrage of strikes! Penn is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dominick screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mathieu Dominick!
A relieved looking Mathieu Dominick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
