The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asuka looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.
Raiden Asuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Asuka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jones is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Asuka has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jones is looking to defend but Asuka has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jones! Asuka pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jones taps out and this one is all over!
