The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Smith.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Izgrate.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Izgrate.
Izgrate tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Izgrate saw that one coming.
Izgrate just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Izgrate tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Smith looks to land a combination. Izgrate sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Smith lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Izgrate misses with a wild combination.
Izgrate wants to clinch.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Izgrate stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Smith throws a leg kick but Izgrate moved away.
Smith bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Izgrate's head backwards.
Izgrate tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance.
Smith throws a lazy right hand but Izgrate sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Izgrate wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.

Smith throws a combination that misses

and Izgrate counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Smith's guard now.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith wants to sweep here but Izgrate controlling him for the moment.
Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Izgrate is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Smith is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Izgrate rolls with it to try and escape but Smith cranks on the arm and Izgrate is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
