The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palmer pinned against the cage. Palmer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Palmer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Palmer lands an elbow.
Bob tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Palmer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Palmer.
Bob is looking to regain half guard here but Palmer keeps moving and retains side control.
Bob could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Palmer working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bob is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Palmer looks up at the clock and then as Bob takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Palmer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bob manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Bob is trying to get back to full guard.

Bob is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Palmer is tapping! Great win for Bob!
