PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CockO SauruS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SauruS fails to land with a series of punches.
SauruS avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

SauruS drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lukens wants to stand up but SauruS is controlling him.
Lukens bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in SauruS's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
SauruS keeping moving, preventing Lukens from controlling successfully.

Lukens takes advantage of some sloppy striking from SauruS to pass into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

SauruS is breathing heavily.
Lukens wants to sweep here but SauruS controlling him for the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as SauruS accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

SauruS stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lukens swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
