Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scott Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Swanson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson lands a head kick!
Swanson throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.

and Black decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Swanson's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Swanson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Swanson wants to get back to his feet but Black passes into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Swanson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Black manages to mount him!

Swanson wants to get back to his feet.
Swanson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Black breaks from Swanson's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Black has control of Swanson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Swanson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Black is breathing heavily.
Swanson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Black takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Black lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black is landing with some decent strikes but Swanson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Swanson tries to improve his position but Black has taken his back! Black has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Swanson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Black pushes Swanson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
