Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ba Lil III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo has chosen Theme of Sho as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Lil III.
Shinjo throws an overhand right that lands on Lil III's shoulder, as Lil III tries to avoid the shot.
A slow jab from Lil III misses its intended target.

Lil III gets tackled into the cage by Shinjo. Shinjo maintains the clinch.
Shinjo misses with a punch to the body.
Lil III is looking to control Shinjo's arms but Shinjo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lil III has his back to the cage.
Lil III goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Shinjo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lil III down.
Lil III's coaches at Beast II have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
