The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford slips a straight right by Blunts.
Blunts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ford tries to kick Blunts off but Blunts keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ford is looking for a sweep. Blunts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nice strikes from Blunts there.
Blunts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ford's head.
Ford is looking to control Blunts's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ford avoid being mounted?
Blunts sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ford defending well though.
