Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Olavur Standley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mic Timber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timber thuds his shin into the meat of Standley's side.
Timber moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Timber.
Timber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Standley throws a sloppy head kick and Timber moves out of range easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Timber scores with a four punch combination!
Timber scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Timber jabs Standley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Timber jabs at Standley's body.
Standley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Timber scores with a kick to the midsection.
Timber moves out of range of the leg kick from Standley.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Standley throws a low kick but Timber moves out of range easily.
Timber moves out of range as Standley throws a body kick.
Timber comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Timber avoids the head kick by Standley.

Timber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Standley, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Timber manages to break the clinch.
Timber lets loose with a powerful body kick. Standley will feel that in the morning.
Standley feints a jab promting Timber to slip. Standley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Timber slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Standley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Timber lands a nice looking body kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Timber.
Timber feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Standley's calf.
Standley tries to land a front kick but Timber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Timber misses with a two punch combination.
Standley shoots for a double leg takedown but Timber sprawls well. He's pushed Standley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Standley looks to throw the jab but Timber is out of range.
Standley throws a right hand that Timber ducks under and follows up with a left that Timber also avoids with ease.
Timber wants to clinch up but Standley keeps it at a distance.

Timber moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Standley swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Timber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Standley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Standley misses with a left hand
and Timber counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Standley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Standley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Timber.
Timber throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Standley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Timber dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Standley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Timber pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Standley back to the cage. Timber follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Timber is looking to clinch but Standley is avoiding it.
Timber plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Standley is rocked!
Standley wants to land a leg kick but Timber is out of range.
Oh Standley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice uppercut lands for Timber. That snapped Standley's head back.
Standley will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Standley throws a right hand that Timber ducks under and follows up with a left that Timber also avoids with ease.
Standley is breathing heavily.
Whack! Timber lands a heavy head kick that drops Standley. The ref tackles Timber to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Standley was done.
