Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alekssander Anatolievich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anatolievich tries for a takedown but Khan circles away easily

and Khan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anatolievich won't be happy with that.
Khan tries to move to mount but Anatolievich blocks the move with his legs.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Khan working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Khan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Anatolievich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anatolievich has managed to get both his arms back between Khan's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Alekssander Anatolievich just wasn't active enough.

and Khan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Khan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Khan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Anatolievich has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Anatolievich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Khan catches Anatolievich with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Khan darts in and clinches Anatolievich up against the cage.
Anatolievich changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Khan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Khan lands with an uppercut that bounces Anatolievich off the cage and back into range.
Anatolievich moves out of range of the body kick from Khan.
Alekssander Anatolievich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Anatolievich takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Khan manages to break the clinch.
Khan throws a head kick that half lands.
Anatolievich walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oh Anatolievich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Khan counters with a big slam. Anatolievich looks out but Khan is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Anatolievich from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
