PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Paulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zed Willon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulo misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Paulo.
Paulo cracks the inside of Willon's front leg.
Paulo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Paulo blocks a head kick by Willon.
Paulo stuffs the takedown attempt from Willon. Willon gets slowly back to his feet.
Willon darts in looking for a takedown but Paulo gets double underhooks and turns Willon into the cage.
Paulo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Willon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Antonio Paulo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zed Willon.
Willon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Paulo smiles and moves away.
Willon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Paulo looks to land a combination. Willon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Paulo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Willon's sensitive parts.
Willon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Paulo swivels and escapes.
Willon looks winded!
Willon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Paulo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Willon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Paulo.
Paulo lands a nice hook to Willon's body. Willon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Paulo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paulo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Willon's calf.
Paulo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Paulo lands a high kick!

Willon is rocked!
Paulo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Willon is still on wobbly legs! Can Paulo finish him?
Paulo wobbles Willon with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Paulo dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Willon to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Antonio Paulo!
A relieved looking Antonio Paulo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
