The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ylurner slaps away a takedown attempt from Cote, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ylurner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cote shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cote looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Cote. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ylurner throws a head kick but Cote moves out of range.
Schloash Ylurner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cote avoids the head kick by Ylurner.
Ylurner cracks Cote with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ylurner lands a leg kick that knocks Cote off balance momentarily.
Ylurner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cote stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cote walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ylurner.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cote takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cote is breathing heavily.

Ylurner lands a left and a right that send Cote crashing to the mat, dazed. Ylurner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cote backs away from a small jab... but Ylurner lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Cote crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Ylurner with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Schloash Ylurner!
