PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sinisa Veljko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Veljko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stemm - Face the pain. The crowd seem to be enjoying Terrier's choice of entrance music: Closer - Nine Inch Nales. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Terrier moves into the clinch.
Veljko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Terrier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Terrier.
Veljko has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Terrier after a bit of a struggle.
Terrier is pressed up against the cage. Veljko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Terrier down to the mat. Terrier avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sinisa Veljko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Terrier sizes up Veljko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Terrier gets through Veljko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Terrier creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Veljko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Terrier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Terrier gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Veljko.
Veljko is breathing heavily.
Veljko can't get the takedown.

Veljko wants to take the fight to the mat but Terrier manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Terrier gets through Veljko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Terrier dips a shoulder and cracks Veljko with a mighty uppercut! Veljko falls back against the cage and Terrier unloads with a barrage of strikes! Veljko is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Terrier screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
