Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ming Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Drozky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drozky throws a right hand that Ling ducks under and follows up with a left that Ling also avoids with ease.
Ling closes the distance but Drozky moves to the side
and Drozky counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ling is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Ling could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ling closes the distance looking to clinch

and Drozky counters by moving into the clinch.

Drozky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ling tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Drozky counters by clinching up.
We've been hearing reports that Ling has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ling tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Drozky smiles and moves away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ling tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Drozky paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Drozky counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Drozky.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ling tries to pull guard but Drozky holds him up against the cage and eventually Ling drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ming Ling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ling tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Drozky just stands there and leans against the cage.

and Drozky counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drozky.

Drozky is sitting in close to Ling's body. Ling has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Drozky is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Drozky is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ling.
