Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Azarow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezekiel Town (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Town's choice of entrance music: Old Tyme Religion. Ezekiel Town is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azarow throws a hook to the side of Town's head but Town sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Azarow waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Town. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Town to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Town is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Town looking for a guillotine here but Azarow defends easily.
Town throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Town trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Town throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Town has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Azarow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Azarow wants to get up but he can't break Town's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Town has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Town accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Town is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ezekiel Town has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Azarow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Town to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Town makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Town stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Azarow has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Town manages to get his head free but now Azarow has transitioned to an armbar! Town grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Azarow! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
