Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cheech Marin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marin throws a leg kick but Lucas checks it.
Joao Lucas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marin moves into the clinch successfully.
Marin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Lucas is trying to trip Marin. He has hold of a leg but Marin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lucas persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lucas shoots in looking for a takedown but Marin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lucas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lucas closes the distance and clinches up with Marin, looking for a takedown. Lucas pushes Marin against the cage but Marin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
