Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Palister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albin Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albin Han will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Palister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Albin Han!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han tries to clinch

and Palister moves into the clinch.
Han tries to work over Palister's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Palister prevents a body shot from Han.
Han misses with a punch to the body.
Han goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Palister drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Han wants to stand but Palister has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Han wants to stand and escape but instead Palister has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Han controls Palister momentarily but Palister frees himself.
Han utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Palister scoring with punches to the head and body.
Han keeping moving, preventing Palister from controlling successfully.
Palister throws a big elbow that misses.
Han is trying to control the position but Palister postures up.

Han wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Palister is now in half guard.

Han keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Palister thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Han's head.
Han trying to hold on to Palister's head to control him but Palister postures up.
Palister working over Han with some ground and pound. Han looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Palister looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Still in half guard, Palister seems content to control.
Palister tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Han.

Palister seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Palister is looking to take a break and control but Han is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Palister.
Han closes the distance but Palister moves to the side

and Palister counters by moving into the clinch.

Palister is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Han can't fight it off and eventually Palister manages to take the fight to the floor. Han looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Palister might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Han wants to get back to his feet but Palister is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Palister drops back looking for a leg! Han is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Han manages to kick Palister off! Palister jumps back into Han's guard.

Han is trying to keep Palister in close.
Han wants to get back to his feet but Palister is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Han not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Palister trying to control but Han is working from the bottom.
Han trying to keep a closed guard but Palister is proving a slippery customer.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Albin Han hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Palister shoots in for a takedown but Han shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Han moves to clinch but Palister breaks away

and Palister holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Han tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Palister avoids it.

Palister pulls guard successfully.
Han tries to stand but Palister is controlling from the bottom.
Han looks winded!

Han wants to get up but he can't break Palister's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Palister throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Palister seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Han has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Palister is proving hard to escape from.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Palister shoots in for a takedown but Han shows good takedown defense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Palister's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Palister thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Han wants to clinch but Palister slips to the side
and Palister counters with a three punch combo that has Han backing up. Han nods at Palister to acknowledge the strikes.

Palister drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Palister jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Han keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Han tries to clinch up but Palister circles away and keeps his distance.

Palister has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Han off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Palister closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Han to the mat! Han manages to get full guard.

Jack Palister is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Palister, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
