With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson throws out a powerful jab.
Pearson throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it.
Pearson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pearson tests Anderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pearson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Anderson connects with a body shot that sends Pearson's belly button to the back.
Pearson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight.
Anderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pearson throws a hook but Anderson blocks it.

Some bone on bone action there as Pearson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pearson feints a jab promting Anderson to slip. Pearson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Anderson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Anderson shoots in but Pearson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tyson Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pearson loads up on a big right hand but Anderson slips the punch.

so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pearson keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.
Anderson won't allow Pearson to sweep him here.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Pearson keeps moving.
Anderson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pearson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Pearson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anderson is controlling him.
Anderson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Craig Anderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Anderson throws out a loose jab but Pearson uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Anderson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pearson takes a swing at Anderson's ribcage but misses.
Pearson throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A nice inside leg kick there by Anderson. That's going to slow Pearson down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Anderson throws a solid leg kick but Pearson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Anderson.

Pearson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrible takedown by Anderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Pearson which made him look bad.
Pearson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anderson to score with a decent uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyson Pearson will probably get the nod.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Anderson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Pearson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Anderson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Craig Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Anderson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Craig Anderson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Vandal Fight Boutique & Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
