The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgarry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Mcgarry is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wilson is just riding it out for now. Mcgarry eventually gives up the hold.

Mcgarry seems to be working for a kimura but Wilson defends the submission attempt.

Mcgarry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcgarry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mcgarry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mcgarry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mcgarry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Mcgarry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wilson dips a shoulder and cracks Mcgarry with a mighty uppercut! Mcgarry falls back against the cage and Wilson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mcgarry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Wilson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
