Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ellert Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sobota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Sobota has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ellert Roberts's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Sobota!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts fails in his attempt to clinch.
Roberts scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A punch lands to the side of Roberts 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sobota fails to land with a series of punches.
Sobota throws a push kick but Roberts slaps the foot to one side.

Roberts has Sobota up against the cage in a clinch.

Sobota closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roberts did well to prevent Sobota getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

No joy there for Roberts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roberts fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sobota on the side of the head.

Roberts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sobota defends it nicely.
Sobota tries a head kick but it misses.

Roberts gets a clinch.

Roberts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Roberts stuffs the takedown attempt from Sobota. Sobota gets slowly back to his feet.
Roberts tries to bum rush Sobota with a series of wild strikes but Sobota uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roberts misses with a double jab.
Roberts swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sobota counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sobota looks to land a combination. Roberts sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Daniel Sobota showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sobota dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Roberts. That did some damage!

A looping hook to the body misses from Sobota. Roberts does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sobota throws a nice looking combination but Roberts bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Roberts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sobota doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roberts.

Roberts has his foot on Sobota's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sobota works his way back into a safe position though.
