Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Hanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Smith!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
Smith lands a really nice looking cross but Hanson seems unphased.
Hanson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind Hanson 's knee.
Hanson wants to clinch
and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
Hanson moves to clinch but Smith breaks away
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanson darts in trying to clinch
and Smith counters with a left to the body.
Smith connects with a looping right hand.
Hanson tries to move into range but Smith moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hanson is rocked!
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Hanson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt
and Smith counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hanson thinking.
Hanson seems to have got his legs back now.
Smith cracks Hanson with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith counters with a nice right hand that sends Hanson toppling to the canvas! Hanson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Smith finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanson closes the distance but Smith moves to the side
and Smith rattles Hanson with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Hanson tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Smith dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Hanson stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jeremy Smith!
