Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jo Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo comes into the arena with Set You Free blaring out of the sound system. Jo Jo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pejro Karesky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jo Jo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pejro Karesky!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karesky keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jo Jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karesky gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Jo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Karesky regains guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Our spies down at at Vicious Striking inform us that Karesky has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Karesky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Karesky moves into the clinch.
Jo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Karesky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jo wants the takedown. Karesky is fighting it off but Jo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Karesky's guard against the cage.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jo lands a nice short elbow.

Jo winds up and cracks Karesky with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Jo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karesky doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jo.

Jo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karesky does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jo wants to work for an arm triangle but Karesky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Karesky tries to stall but Jo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

I think Karesky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
