Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nguyen has chosen Vader - Sword of the Witcher as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Marston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen fails with a takedown attempt.
Nguyen moves into range and clinches up with Marston.
Marston is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nguyen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nguyen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nguyen feints a jab promting Marston to slip. Nguyen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Marston slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nguyen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nguyen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nguyen wants it to stay on the feet.
Marston gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nguyen thuds his right hand into Marston's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nguyen's coach down at Morbid Conditioning School $125 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nguyen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nguyen rushes Marston and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nguyen tries for a takedown but Marston manages to get underhooks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marston manages to pull guard.
Marston is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nguyen rolls with it to try and escape but Marston cranks on the arm and Nguyen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
