The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Black Scholes goes for a double leg but Flores avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flores continues to drive forward.
Flores is looking to take this one to the mat.
Flores has Black Scholes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Black Scholes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Black Scholes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Flores is defending well.

Flores has clasped his hands together around Black Scholes's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Flores is trying to control. Black Scholes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Flores has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Black Scholes defend it? Flores steps over the head and cranks it - Black Scholes is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Flores!
