Sancio comes to the cage accompanied by Faint. Shimabukuro has chosen Warrior as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lerry Sancio has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Shimabukuro.
A head kick from Shimabukuro lands but Sancio takes it in his stride.

It looks like Lerry Sancio has been cut.
Sancio throws a front kick aimed at Shimabukuro's knee but Shimabukuro avoids it well.
Shimabukuro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Shimabukuro lands a big head kick that sends Sancio tumbling to the mat! Shimabukuro takes a step backwards and waves Sancio back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shimabukuro throws a series of punches but Sancio avoids them all with ease.

Shimabukuro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sancio keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Masaru Shimabukuro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sancio throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Sancio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Shimabukuro has knocked Sancio down with a huge combo! Shimabukuro steps away and waves a wobbly Sancio back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shimabukuro lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shimabukuro.

Lerry Sancio's cut is getting worse.
Shimabukuro grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Sancio takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Shimabukuro cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
