Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Lebow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Xenon!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebow plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Xenon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lebow swivels and escapes.
A head kick by Xenon misses
and Lebow counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lebow has taken the fight to the clinch.
Xenon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lebow is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lebow throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lebow displaying some good clinch control by pressing Xenon up against the cage.
Lebow lands a left hand.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Xenon misses with a punch on the inside.
A short uppercut from Lebow.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Xenon.
Lebow comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Lebow lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Xenon is rocked!

Xenon is still on wobbly legs! Can Lebow finish him?
Xenon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lebow controlling the action here for a moment.
Xenon seems to have recovered his senses.
Xenon tries to work over Lebow's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Xenon takes an elbow to the temple.
Lebow lands an elbow just above Xenon 's eye.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Xenon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Xenon letting Lebow take a breather here.
Xenon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lebow moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Xenon doesn't manage to clinch there - Lebow circles away.
Xenon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lebow lands an elbow inside.
Xenon tries to pull guard but Lebow won't allow it.
Josh Lebow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Xenon.

Xenon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Xenon is trying to maintain a safe position but Lebow gets an underhook and turns Xenon into the cage.
Xenon struggles to land a body shot inside as Lebow controls his hands.

Xenon takes an elbow to the forehead.
Xenon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lebow lands with a light punch inside.
Xenon misses with a body punch.
Lebow pushes Xenon against the cage. Lebow is working some dirty boxing. Lebow pushes off with a quick right hook! Xenon goes down! Xenon tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Lebow moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Lebow!
A relieved looking Josh Lebow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
