Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darell Deleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gekke Henkie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darell Deleon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon shoots in for a takedown but Henkie shows good takedown defense.
Henkie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Henkie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Deleon with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darell Deleon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Deleon is defended easily by Henkie.
Henkie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Deleon tries to avoid it but Henkie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Deleon to the ground. Deleon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Henkie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Deleon walks away with a smile on his face. Henkie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Henkie is trying to control the action in half guard but Deleon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Henkie wants to control the pace but Deleon is squirming around nicely.

Henkie has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Deleon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Deleon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Henkie defends well and Deleon ends up having to push Henkie into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Deleon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Deleon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Deleon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Henkie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Deleon, up you get!

Deleon closes the distance and clinches up with Henkie, looking for a takedown. Deleon pushes Henkie against the cage but Henkie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Henkie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Deleon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Deleon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Deleon!
