Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mewes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jacob Andersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Mewes!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Andersen.
A combination from Mewes does no damage.

and Mewes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Andersen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mewes napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Andersen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Andersen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Andersen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mewes circles away.
Andersen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mewes stalks Andersen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Andersen's face. Andersen staggers backwards, shaken.

Andersen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mewes pinned against the cage. Mewes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mewes scoring well with a low kick there.
Andersen tries for a takedown but Mewes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Andersen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mewes punishes Andersen's body with a nice straight punch.
Mewes connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Andersen! He's out on his feet! Mewes rushes in and drops Andersen with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jason Mewes!
After the fight, Jason Mewes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
