Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergio Moraes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergio Moraes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Murray!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moraes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Moraes drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Moraes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Murray is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Moraes tries to score a body lock takedown but Murray shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Moraes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moraes has been working on his balance at Soul Supremacy - UK, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Murray.

Let's hope that Murray has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Moraes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Murray controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rob Murray.

Moraes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Murray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Murray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Murray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moraes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Moraes is sitting in close to Murray's body. Murray has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Moraes is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Moraes is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Murray.
