The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
At Hammed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
At Hammed shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
At Hammed has his takedown stuffed

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. At Hammed fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brah At Hammed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now At Hammed is on top in guard.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. At Hammed stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by At Hammed!

At Hammed is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Silva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Silva sneaks back into half guard.

At Hammed works his foot free and advances to mount.
At Hammed wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.
Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
Silva slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
At Hammed is trying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but At Hammed pulls his head out easily.

At Hammed seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.

At Hammed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
At Hammed tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

At Hammed lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva!

At Hammed is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! At Hammed extends the arm and Silva is forced to tap!
